O U R L E A T H E R:
Your Alasia Lifestyle leather goods are made using the best leathers we can find. When it comes to performance, breathability, and durability, leather is still regarded to be the best material available for shoe uppers, and we say: but only if it’s ethically sourced! Unlike most leathers in the market which are tanned with highly toxic substances and which could be sourced from cattle farms that cause deforestation, our leathers are tanned in Italy using an environmentally friendly method, which is free from harmful chemicals such as chromium, and heavy metals.
Every hide is unique and has tonal variations, small marks or scars are natural features and should not be considered faults. These full grain leathers have no synthetic covering and are sensitively finished by hand. Due to the natural tannings used, our leathers develop and change over time darkening and creating their own unique patina.

Your product's vegetable-tanned leather and will require a little care. The leather can be coated with a gentle protection cream however, it is important that you follow the guidelines below. Always use a neutral, rather than a particular colour
We always advise avoid getting your product wet, or using them in rainy conditions. However, should you get your sandals or bag wet, water can be gently wiped into the leather, and allow your product to air dry. At the end of the season, make sure to air-dry your sandals, and store them in a cool, dry box with the silica gel sachet you received with your order. Humidity will cause moulding and irreversible damage to your sandal and bag.
Be aware that the leathers are dyed and as such for the first few wears they may transfer a small amount of colour onto clothing or skin. This is a typical characteristic of vegetable tanned leathers and will mean that your bag ages beautifully.
Our natural (Nude and Tan colours) leather products will patina over time resulting in a darker, uneven colouration. Leather fans will recognise this as the ultimate sign of quality, the process itself can be quickened but should not and cannot be avoided.

All of the hardware on our bags is made from nickel free materials. Humidity and wear may cause some discolouration and hardware will darken over time as the metal oxidises in the atmosphere. This will not damage the hardware but should you wish to polish it back up again then you can use any readily available brass polish, just make sure that you protect the leather first by covering with a protective cloth.

Do not store near heat as this could – and probably will - dry out the leather. Leather is a natural material and with use, your handbag will develop some marks or scratches. Don't try and avoid this it'll gradually wear in the leather and will add to the product’s uniqueness.
Care should also be taken to avoid colour transfer from dark clothing onto light leathers and also from dark leathers onto light coloured clothing.
Your Alasia Lifestyle products should provide many years of use if taken care of properly. If you experience any problems with it, or simply require advice regarding its care, please contact us on: email@example.com
